The reason why the engineering faculty at Andalas University had to wear basic pants / skirts even more

     Andalas University is one of the best campuses outside of Java even in Indonesia. Can be abbreviated as (Unand). Andalas University is known or dubbed as "Green Campus". The reason is because many are surrounded by green plants so that the campus environment becomes more beautiful and fresh thanks to the air produced or processed foosintically from these plants. Then the Unand campus is also located on the top of the Limau Manih hill. The main campus is located in Manih Limau, Padang. But there are more like in, Jati (Padang) and Campus II Andalas University (Payakumbuh).

     There are several faculties at Andalas University, namely: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Information Technology Faculty, Animal Husbandry Faculty, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Public Health and Faculty of Nursing.

     On this occasion I will discuss one of the faculties at Andalas University, Faculty of Engineering. The Faculty of Engineering is one of the most sought after by most women (female students). Why is that? because in the Faculty of Engineering most of them are men. But do you know there are some conditions if you become a student of the engineering faculty?.

     At Andalas University, especially in the Faculty of Engineering there are several conditions if we have become the Fakutal Engineering students. Among them, for men wearing basic pants and shirts while women wear basic skirts. According to the results of my interview to several engineering faculty students, the reason why engineering faculty students are required to first wear basic pants / skirts is to be able to distinguish between senior and junior and one of the requirements for entry into the department / faculty set. They said that if they were included as members of the student association, then the department / faculty would be allowed to wear free use like other students. But there are also female students who say that "actually it is permissible to use beju free (polite) only the engineering faculty students want to respect their seniors". Then there are more reasons that say that the device is compact.
